Please refer to the Plan Review Schedule, which is consistent with the requirements set forth in the Craven County Subdivision and Mobile Home Park Ordinances. All subdivision and mobile home park plans must be received by the Craven County Planning and Inspections Department 15 days prior to the Planning Board meeting at which it will be reviewed.
All plats submitted for approval must be in the following numbers and form:
Please note: Additional paper copies may need to be sent to other agencies, and will be requested as needed by the department.
A letter of credit or bond is required for any improvements that have not been installed at the time of approval.
All final plats approved by the Planning Board and Board of Commissioners are subject to a fee based on the current fee schedule. This fee is required at the time of submission and is non-refundable. These final plats must be recorded at the Register of Deeds office within 90 days of the Board of Commissioners approval or they will expire.
